Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Visit app.prycescan.com and click 'Start Free'. Sign up with your email and you will be guided through the onboarding process.
How do I add my first product?
Go to Products > Add Product. Enter the SKU, name, and GTIN (barcode). PryceScan will automatically search for competitors.
How long until I see competitor prices?
Competitor prices are typically available within 24 hours of adding a product. Google Shopping results appear first, followed by marketplace and retail website data.

What is a SmartPrice?
A SmartPrice is the optimal price calculated by PryceScan based on your pricing rules and current competitor data. It represents the recommended price for each product.

Can I have multiple rules?
Yes. Rules can target different brands, categories, or individual products. When multiple rules apply to the same product, priority determines which rule wins.
What happens if no competitors are found?
If no competitor data is available, the SmartPrice is not calculated. Your current price remains unchanged until competitor data becomes available.
Competitors
How does competitor discovery work?
PryceScan searches Google Shopping for each product using its GTIN or name. Retailers found selling the same product are added as competitors. You can include or exclude any competitor.
What is international seller detection?
PryceScan identifies sellers shipping from overseas or operating as grey market importers. You can choose to exclude these from your pricing calculations.
Can I add competitors manually?
Yes. Go to Competitors and add a domain manually. PryceScan will start monitoring that retailer for your products.
Billing
How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to Settings > Billing and select your desired plan. Payment is processed through Stripe. Upgrades take effect immediately.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Yes. Contact [email protected] to switch your billing cycle. Annual billing saves 20%.
How do I cancel?
Go to Settings > Billing > Manage Billing. Cancel through the Stripe portal. You retain access until the end of your billing period.
API
How do I get an API key?
Go to Settings > API Keys and generate a new key. API access requires the Pro plan or above.

How do I invite team members?
Go to Settings > Team and click 'Invite'. Enter their email and select a role. They will receive an invitation link.
How do I export my data?
Go to Reports to export products, price history, and competitor prices in CSV or Excel format. You can also export approved SmartPrices for re-import into your e-commerce platform.
How do I delete my account?
Contact [email protected] to request account deletion. Your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
